Children's Cancer Month

This month is Children's Cancer Month and Cancer Research UK is asking for the public to support their ongoing work with child cancer patients by purchasing their Christmas gifts and e-cards.

Cancer Research UK has a wide selection of Christmas e-cards ideal for sending to friends and families.

Alternatively company owners can create a Cancer Research corporate e-card as the perfect way of sending your company seasonal greetings whilst expressing support for the charity this Christmas.

Cancer Research asks that companies create their personalised Christmas e-cards in exchange for donating the money that they would have spent on paper cards to the charity.

Individuals can also support Cancer Research UK this Christmas by creating a personalised donations page, or Gift in Celebration, and inviting the family and friends to make a donation rather than asking for presents.

This December around 155 children and young people will be diagnosed with cancer of leukaemia.

CLIC Sargent, the children's cancer charity, is also running a number of fundraising events throughout Children's Cancer Month.

Suggested events include a Christmas office party raffle for an extra day's holiday donated by the company, with all proceeds going to the charity.

CLIC Sargent is also running The Big Sing - an attempt to smash the current world record for the number of children singing simultaneously. The event will be led by Lemar and Joss Stone as they sing live from the Royal Albert Hall.

CLIC Sargent friendship bracelets, designed by Jade Jagger, can also be bought from the CLIC Sargent website.
