"Soul Surfer" Bethany Hamilton and her husband Adam Dirks participated in "The Amazing Race" Season 25 in December last year and managed to come in at third place.

The two had a fantastic time gong all over the world and accomplishing unique feats. Hamilton, who just gave birth to her son Tobias weeks ago, shared a throwback photo of her riding a tricycle in the Philippines as part of her participation in "The Amazing Race."

"About a year ago Adam and I had just returned home from the Amazing Race (Season 25). This is a shot racing in the Philippines where we then continued on to the finals in LA. It was INSANELY challenging over all and crazy fun! Stoked to have had the opportunity to race with my husband on this awesome adventure!" she wrote on her Instagram account (@bethanyhamilton).

Hamilton and her husband truly amazed audiences because they did not fight at all during the entire show, whereas other couples and friends were really going at each other when things got rough.

"I think we knew it would be really stressful and there would be situations where they would make us want to fight. But we kept in mind that it's just a race. We didn't want the race to come between us," she told TV Guide.

Hamilton added that she is very proud of how they handled things from start to finish. "We supported each other the same we do in real life," she said. "I think going into it, we were like, 'Let's not come in last.' But we knew we had the ability to get to the finals and possibly win. You take it one leg at a time. I think not getting ahead of ourselves helped us."

For his part, Dirks is pretty impressed with his wife's strength and determination. "I knew Bethany wouldn't give up and she got it done," he said. "Who knows if I would've done better."
