"Soul Surfer" Bethany Hamilton loves the ocean. Even while she was pregnant with her first baby with husband Adam Dirks, nothing could keep her away from the water. She spent a lot of time during her pregnancy either just swimming or riding the waves.

One would assume that Hamilton's baby boy Tobias would love the ocean just as much as his parents do.

But in a new photo shared by the passionate surfer, it looked like the baby had quite an unexpected and different reaction towards the ocean.

On her Instagram account (@bethanyhamilton), the new mom shared a photo of her husband carrying their son Tobias, who was wearing a tiny orange beach hat. "Family beach day! Tobias had his first time in the ocean with his papa!!! He didn't love it," Hamilton captioned the photo.

The harsh rays of the sun might have contributed to the dislike. Nevertheless, Hamilton said she is confident that her son would grow up loving the same things her parents do.

She made the announcement of Tobias' arrival on her social media accounts by posting an adorable family photo. "Blessed to welcome our son, Tobias, into the world. Born June 1st, 7.9 lbs. and 21" long. He is named after his great grandpa Tobias meaning 'The goodness of God.' Adam and I are so in love with our lil guy and are stoked to share life with him!" Hamilton gushed.

Just a few days after, Hamilton said it is a great joy being Tobias' mom. But there is something she misses dearly. "I am loving being a momma!!! Tobias is adorable. But I can't wait to get my feet on some wax and #mybikini on! So hungry to surf..." she said.
