Another exclusive video game for the Nintendo Switch console has been announced during the Game Awards last Thursday. Nintendo showed a teaser video of the upcoming action-adventure video game "Bayonetta 3."

Nintendo chief operating officer Reggie Fils-Aime was the one who introduced the video game. The 53-second teaser video shows the game's main protagonist Bayonetta wielding her iconic dual pistols and firing them with precision. The trailer also shows a purple figure hurling projectiles at Bayonetta. As the two face each other, Bayonetta somehow dissolves and her guns strike the ground.

The game is now in the middle of development by Platinum Games and will be published by Nintendo. The release date for the video game is yet to be announced.

Based on feedback from gamers, "Bayonetta 3" is one of the most-anticipated video games of today.

Nintendo also confirmed that "Bayonetta" and "Bayonetta 2" will both be re-released for the Switch in the early months of 2018. This is to build up and give fans something to engage in before the release of the new video game installment.

Aime has not revealed any information about the new elements to be included in "Bayonetta 3." There are also no information yet about the storyline of the video game.

The predecessor of the upcoming video game "Bayonetta 2" is a hack and slash video game released for the Wii U. The second installment to the video game series came out on Sept. 20, 2014. The game received a 9.5 out of 10 score from IGN.

The "Bayonetta" video game franchise is recognized for its excellent combat element, character design, and enemy variety. IGN opines that the second installment is a great improvement to "Bayonetta" released back in 2009. The first video game received a great score of 9 out of 10 from Steam.
