Australia Worships 2004 Report

Approximately 40,000 Australians participated in this year's 'Australia Worships'. Gathered in about 100 communities across the Nation, they were joined thousands of new participants who listened to the 160 radio stations of the VisionFM and Rhema networks around the country which covered the event.

Through the proclamations of the Word and the worship by the multitudes, there was a spiritual breakthrough across the nation as people unite their spirit and heart in the body of Christ.

Numerous encouraging testimonies were received all over Australia and the following is an extract:

* At 8.50p.m. as we were singing "This is the Air I Breath" the light flickered on behind the Cross and illuminated it.

* I believe we did a significant thing with the rest of the nation and the Lord was pleased and His people rejoiced in their salvation and prayed for their city with His heart.

* The Lord met with us in a wonderful way. His presence was with us throughout the evening. This was especially evident in the reading of the scriptures and the declarations. When the pastors boldly proclaimed their declaration they were interrupted on several occasions by spontaneous applause and cheering.

* Towards the end of the night the Lord took us into deep worship and an extended period of holy silence.

* GOD was in the House. We were all moved by the presence of GOD and felt honoured and privileged to have been united with our Brothers and Sisters in bringing down the GLORY OF GOD upon this Great South Land of the HOLY SPIRIT

* we had an extraordinary time of praise, worship and declaration before the Lord. One of my leadership team commented that the time flew so quickly that the two hours felt like 45 minutes.

* The presence of the Holy Spirit was glorious and everyone without exception felt it was an extremely significant gathering. There was a real thrill for us know many others were doing the same thing in unison with us and blessing the Lord together.

* the presence of God was in our midst. The time of prayer, worship and declarations were awesome. Everyone who attended were very much blessed.

Among the leaders, some felt a great spiritual battle attached to the event. Also, God seems to be preparing His people for something ahead and is establishing His presence among those who committed themselves that night.

Next year's 'Australia Worship' will be held on National Day of Thanksgiving. Through this, may thousands more be encourage to participate in the worship of He, who deserves all the glory and praises.
