Audacious 2006 Extends Dates, Due to Popular Demand

|TOP|The Audacious 2006 Conference is the ultimate experience for young people between the ages of 13 and 30. The role of the conference is to equip, empower and launch young people and adults into a fun and purpose-filled life.

Due to popular demand, Audacious 2006 has been developed and expanded to be held over two weeks, thus allowing even more delegates to attend the event.

This year Sheffield will be hosting the event between 31st July and 4th August, whilst from 7th to the 11th August, Portsmouth will be the host.

3000 full-time delegates are expected to attend Audacious, whilst another 1000 people are expected to attend the evening sessions, Audacious Nights, which are open to the general public.

Some of the speakers at Audacious 2006 will be: Glyn Barrett (Audacious Director), Stuart Kier (London City Life Church), Derek Smith (Kings Church Bolton), Sophia Barrett (Youth Alive UK), Dave Gilpin (Hope City Church) and Andy Elmes (Portsmouth Family Church).

Russell Evans, the Founder and Director of Planet Shakers, Australia, will be returning from the success of last years conference. For the first time Mike Guggliemucci and the Planet Shakers band will be joining Evans at the Audacious conference.

The Planet Shakers band are going to play at Audacious as a part of their world tour. Their appearance at Audacious will be their only appearance in the UK.

The Director of Audacious, Glyn Barrett, commented that: “Audacious and Planet Shakers are building a strong relationship. We’re looking forward to hosting Russell, Mike and the team at the Audacious Conference this year.”

He continued: “Planet Shakers is a dynamic organisation which attracts over 25,000 people from across Australia. They are making a national and international impact which is being noticed here in the UK.

We are confident they will participate in making Audacious a great success.”

As usual the Audacious band will be there to provide the ultimate live music experience. Currently the band are promoting the release of their second album, Yeah!, which is scheduled to be released worldwide at the Audacious Conference.

Laser quest, swimming, football tournaments are just some of the activities featured at Audacious 2006.
