 Asus

Taiwanese company Asus and Japanese tech giant Sony Corporation just announced their new smartphones, the ZenFone Selfie and the Sony Xperia C4 respectively, earlier this year for the selfie fans and enthusiasts. Now selfie fans are probably curious about which of the two handsets comes with the sharpest front-facing camera?

Asus had unveiled the new ZenFone Selfie handset, at the recent Computex 2015 event held in Taiwan, and plans to release the new device sometime by the third quarter of this year.

Sony, on the other hand, recently announced it had begun shipping the new Sony Xperia C4 smartphone in Asia, and will later launch the new phone to other regions.

Both the new Asus ZenFone Selfie and the new Sony Xperia C4 handset run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The two new smartphones are also expected to come with 5.5 inch display screens with 1080 x 1920 resolutions.

The ZenFone Selfie's display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the Sony Xperia C4 comes with a scratch resistance capability. Sony's Xperia C4 handset will be powered by a non-removable 2600 mAh battery and Asus's ZenFone Selfie will have a larger 3000 mAh battery.

The Sony Xperia C4 comes in green mint, white and black colors, while the ZenFone Selfie will come in white, aqua blue and chic pink colors, according to reports.

Now for the cameras, the ZenFone Selfie comes with a sharper 13 mega pixel (1080p) front-facing camera and the Sony Xperia C4 will have a 5 mega pixel (720p) front-facing camera.

Both of the phones will have the same 13 mega pixel rear cameras with 4128 x 3096 resolutions. The Asus ZenFone Selfie will also have many different features alongside its cameras, such as the Beautification mode and the Panorama mode.

Another handset by the Taiwanese company, the Asus ZenFone Zoom, is also expected to come out very soon. The Asus ZenFone Zoom is expected to come with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom capabilities.
