In the next episode of "Z Nation," Lucy (Tara Holt) fights to save the life of an injured Murphy (Keith Allan) while the rest of the team fight an enhanced zombie connected to Roberta Warren's (Kellita Smith) visions.

The synopsis and promotional photos for the upcoming installment titled "Back From the Undead" was just released recently and showed Lucy and Sgt. Lily (Gracie Gillam) helping Murphy make his way through the wasteland to safety. They all appear to be in danger from some zombies that are chasing them. Moments later, Lucy is standing beside Murphy who lay injured on a table. Doc (Russell Hodgkinson) helps keep Murphy down who seems to want to get up and fight. Apparently, there are zombies or other outside forces that pose a threat to where they are holed up. Their companion 10K (Nat Zang) stands by the door just in case any undead creatures are in the vicinity.

They encounter a new kind of zombie that is hard to kill but apparently guards a clue to Warren's dreams. This likely means that they cannot eliminate the zombie immediately but have to find out its secret first to be able to understand Warren's visions. She keeps having dreams of a black rainbow and a path leading east. It remains to be seen what lies in the east and if Murphy will be able to recover from his injuries.

In the last episode, Warren and the survivors got caught and placed in a mysterious maze of zombies. They were able to escape the facility after several attempts. However, Murphy got injured in the process when they were ambushed by two guards who shot at them. Nevertheless, they killed the guards and fled to safety.

"Z Nation" season 4 episode 6 will air on Friday, Nov. 3 at 9 p.m. EDT on the Syfy channel.
