In the next episode of "Z Nation," Roberta Warren (Kellita Smith) and Murphy (Keith Allan) attempt to escape Zona with the help of Dr. Howard Teller (Frank Boyd).

The trailer for the upcoming installment of the hit zombie show revealed Warren, Murphy, and Teller approaching the house of The Founder (Michael Berryman), the scientist who developed the cure to protect humans from the zombie outbreak. "Things are changing. You are no longer safe here," Teller tells Warren and Murphy, as they walk past a zombie eating a human on the lawn.

Meanwhile, Red (Natalie Jongjaroenlarp), 10K (Nat Zang), Doc (Russell Hodgekinson), and Dr. Sun Mei (Sydney Viengluang) appear trapped in their camp as zombies surround it. "If you got a shot, take it," Lt. Mueller (Henry Rollins) tells the group as they prepare with their guns in hand. The group was on its way to the New America safe zone but now appears to be threatened by a sudden attack of zombies.

In the last episode, Murphy and Warren seemed content in Zona which was a place where the people were safe from zombies because of the liquid cure they have taken. However, Warren had been getting strange visions in her sleep which revealed a flying stingray, a black rainbow, and other mysterious images. She soon started getting hysterical and tried to escape Zona but was captured by the authorities.

They put her in an ambulance truck to be sent to the hospital for further checkup. However, on the way to the hospital, Murphy heard a commotion outside and realized they were in danger. As they were about to flee the ambulance truck, Teller encountered them and told the duo to follow him instead because he knew a way to safety.

"Z Nation" season 4 episode 2 will air on Friday, Oct. 6 on the Syfy channel.
