In the next episode of "Young Sheldon," a choking scare causes little Sheldon (Iain Armitage) to fear solid food which makes his parents very concerned.

The trailer for the upcoming episode titled "A Therapist, a Comic Book, and a Breakfast Sausage" was just released and showed Sheldon suddenly choking on a sausage as his sister Missy (Raegan Revord) looks on with terror. His father George (Lance Barber) immediately turns him upside down and shakes him, hoping that the piece of food will exit his mouth. Fortunately, he coughs out the sausage but strangely appears unmoved by the whole ordeal. Nevertheless, he still is a bit fearful of solid food now and does not want to eat that kind from now on, to the dismay of his parents. They decide to go to a therapist to help Sheldon overcome his fear.

"Is this man going to make me eat solid foods?" Sheldon asks his mom Mary (Zoe Perry) in the waiting room of the doctor's office. She replies that the doctor just wants to talk to him. The young boy then asks, "Did you tell him [that] I have a lot to accomplish in my life and cannot afford to be killed by a sausage?" Mary just looks at him with no expression and affirms what he asked. It remains to be seen how Sheldon will be convinced to eat solid foods again.

In the last episode, Mary brought George to the hospital because he felt some pain in his chest. All the kids were worried and sneaked out of the house to visit their dad. In the end, George turned out to be alright and put the kids' worries at bay. Sheldon was the most grateful of them all.

"Young Sheldon" season 1 episode 4 will air on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 9:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
