Yolanda Foster has filed for divorce from David Foster. According to Us Weekly, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star filed documents with the Los Angeles Court on Monday, Jan. 11, more than one month after the two, who have been together for four years, announced their separation in a joint statement.

According to the website, the Public Information Office at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in L.A. confirmed the news to Us Weekly, noting that the former model cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their divorce and that she is asking for spousal support.

Incidentally, Yolanda's birthday also happens to be on Jan. 11, and she took to Instagram to post a picture of her blowing out candles on a cake and it was captioned, "Celebrating endings - for they precede new Beginnings." She added that all she wished for is "a chance at a healthy life without counting spoons" so that she can continue her mission in finding a cure for Lyme disease.

The day after Yolanda filed the divorce papers, the star took to her Twitter account to post a message, which appears to be about her failed marriage.

"I can sleep at night knowing I gave it my all…..Sometimes your best just isn't good enough #LessonLearned," she wrote.

Since the two announced their decision to separate back in December, there has been a lot of speculation about their split, with some saying that Yolanda's battle with Lyme disease has gotten in the way of their marriage, while others claimed that the music producer has been preoccupied with work and hasn't been there for her at all.

Both Yolanda and David denied the allegations, with the reality star tweeting that David has been very good to her throughout her battle with Lyme disease. The music producer also denied the claims, telling E! News that he has been by Yolanda's side over the past four years "to the best of my ability as she battled the complexities of her Lyme diagnosis."

Yolanda's first marriage was to real estate developer Mohamed Hadid. The two have three children together, Gigi, Bella, and Anwar. Yolanda married David on Nov. 11, 2011. Prior to his marriage to the Dutch model, David had been married three times and has five biological daughters and six grandchildren.
