Microsoft has yet to unveil the actual unit of the soon-to-be released Xbox Project Scorpio, but third-party gaming audio accessories manufacturer LucidSound officially dropped the first compatible headset for the upcoming gaming console.

The audio products manufacturer announced through a press release on its website that the new LS35X Wireless Gaming Headset will be the first gaming headset that can be connected to Xbox One consoles, such as the upcoming Project Scorpio, without the use of cables and base station.

According to the press release, the wireless gaming headset will utilize the same wireless technology that is being used by the console's official controller. This means users will no longer have to use a base station or a chat cable, since the headset can be easily paired with the console.

The new headset can also work with all other consoles in the Xbox One systems and PCs. However, those who will use the device on their PCs might have to use an Xbox Wireless Adapter to make it work.

The LS35X wireless headset will also feature several technical features that are made to provide the best gaming experience for Xbox players. According to the press release, the device "uses precision 50mm neodymium drivers to provide exceptionally detailed audio."

It will also be compatible with the Windows Sonic for Headphones surround sound technology that could allow highly accurate 3D surround sound experience in both the Xbox One platforms and Windows 10-powered devices.

The LS35X wireless gaming headset is expected to be released in holiday 2017.

Meanwhile, Xbox head Phil Spencer recently assured his Twitter followers that they do not have to worry about any delays for the release of Xbox Project Scorpio at this point.

According to Spencer's reply when asked by a fan regarding a possible change in the console's release date, the Xbox head said: "Schedule looks very good right now, no issues."

Microsoft is expected to reveal more details about the Xbox Project Scorpio during its pre-E3 press conference on June 11, Sunday.
