After season 10 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" aired its season finale, Vicki Gunvalson reportedly had to deal with the fallout resulting from Brooks Ayers's cancer claims as the other ladies accused not only Brooks but also Vicki of lying about the situation. As a result, the 53-year-old is said to be struggling and is still very upset about it all.

"Vicki was really, really struggling for a while after all that went down," a source said to Radar Online. "She is a tough cookie, but she also has a soft inside and that whole incident hurt her emotionally."

During season 10 of the Bravo show, the Housewives started to doubt Brooks when he told everyone that he was stopping his cancer treatments. Though he maintains that he has cancer, Brooks admitted to faking some medical bills last month after E! News confirmed that he was never treated at City of Hope cancer center.

In the show's reunion special, the ladies confronted Vicki about Brooks's cancer claims, and last month the others started to call her out on her conflicting statements in interviews. Shannon Beador even made a 10-minute video which was posted on her Facebook account, pointing out Vicki's inconsistencies.

"It was calculated. It was premeditated. She wanted sympathy for her boyfriend," said Shannon in the video, adding that Vicki has yet to apologize to everyone for lying about Brooks' cancer.

Heather Dubrow also spoke with Entertainment Tonight earlier this month and echoed Shannon's sentiments, saying that she should apologize for lying so they could move on from the drama.

While Vicki apologized to everyone on "Watch What Happens Live," the source from Radar Online said that the ladies didn't believe that the apology was sincere.

"The women on the show are out for blood," said the source. "When they are against someone they are all extremely vicious."
