The "Titanfall" video game franchise will soon find its way to mobile devices with the release of a new real-time strategy game "Titanfall: Assault."

Reports claimed that the new real-time strategy (RTS) game will let players participate in the Frontier War by creating a team of Pilots and Titans to eliminate the enemy team in real time.

The game's description on its website also revealed that players must gather a number of cards for more power. "Collect and upgrade dozens of cards including tactical Burn Cards providing powerful battlefield support. Strategize your way to victory over enemy forces in epic player vs. player (PvP) battles and compete for glory and rewards on the leaderboards," the game developer stated.

Some of the features that were mentioned by the game developer include the "fast-paced, fluid battles" where Pilots and Titans must participate in, the lively RTS warfare gameplay, numerous maps scattered across The Frontier, several high-powered decks of Titans, Pilots and Burn Cards, and squad upgrade after conquering the Frontier.

This is not the first time that Respawn came up with a "Titanfall" game for mobile since they launched the beta of a standalone "Titanfall: Frontline" in September 2016. However, the free-to-play card battle video game was cancelled in January this year due to its disappointing beta tests.

The game developer explained in the cancelled game's website that the result of the beta test showed that "Titanfall: Frontline" was not enough to present an action-packed gameplay, which the video game franchise was known for. "While it's never easy to cancel a game, we're excited to take some of the concepts we saw resonate with players and build off of them in future Titanfall mobile games," Respawn stated.

More details about the upcoming release of "Titanfall: Assault" mobile game are expected to be revealed soon. Yet, the game developer already started the pre-register period for those who are interested in the game.
