Fans of AMC's post-apocalyptic zombie series, "The Walking Dead," can expect the rest of the season to be full of revelations and, worse, a death, as hinted by Pollyanna McIntosh, who plays Jadis.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, McIntosh gave fans some idea on what to expect for the remaining of the season 8 of the most-watched cable show during Sundays. She revealed that the current run would show someone dying as well.

"As ever, someone's gonna die, so their heartstrings will be pulled as always. But hopefully the enjoyment, the excitement and war element of the show ― this season, they will not be disappointed," McIntosh divulged. As to who would be gone from the show and how, McIntosh did not give details.

Although the news is unwelcome, fans should not be surprised by this, as the showrunners of "The Walking Dead" are known for killing their characters, even those that have already garnered a huge fan base.

In addition, the show is based on the Robert Kirkman comics of the same title, so fans might know how the story will go and which death will be happening next. That said, fans can still expect small twists since "The Walking Dead" does not completely follow the graphic novel. When Eric (Jordan Woods-Robinson) died in the comics, it happened instantaneously, right after he was shot. However, in the show, Eric died a slow death under the tree.

This season, "The Walking Dead" might have gotten off to a bad start, with lesser viewers getting hooked on the show, but die-hard fans know that the show seemed to bring something big for them.

In an interview with Comicbook, showrunner Greg Nicotero, who had directed the 100th episode, which was also the season 8 premiere. He revealed that they were not taking things slow. "The pace stays right on par with where we start," he told.

"The Walking Dead" season 8 airs Sundays, at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
