'Walking Dead' season 6B spoilers: Andrew Lincoln teases season 6 finale

"The Walking Dead" is returning for the second half of its sixth season and things are about to get even more dangerous for Rick and his friends after attempting to escape a zombie-infested Alexandria in the winter finale.

This week, the series released the first four minutes of the show's midseason premiere which shows Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham on their way to Alexandria when a group of bikers block their way. The leader of the group tells the trio to hand over their weapons, and when Daryl asks why they should, the man replies. "Well, they're not yours."

"Whose are they?" Sasha asks.

"Your property now belongs to Negan," says the man.

Daryl seems to sense great danger as instead of starting a fight, he calmly hands over his gun when the man asks for it. Sasha and Abraham do the same before one of the bikers go to the back of their truck to root for supplies.

While the first half of the season elicited strong reactions from fans when it appeared that Glenn was eaten by a horde of zombies, only to survive, it looks like viewers will be seeing more bloodshed starting with episode 9 airing on Sunday.

According to Vanity Fair, fans have already nicknamed the show's returning episode "The Valentine's Day Massacre" as it is expected that there will be a large body count after the battle between the zombie horde and the citizens of Alexandria. But the carnage doesn't stop there as the finale, which will see the arrival of Negan, looks to be even bloodier than previous episodes of the show.

Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick, told Entertainment Weekly that he felt "sick to my stomach" after reading the script for the season 6 finale.

"It was the first day in my whole six years of working on 'The Walking Dead' that I was late for work because I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn't get back to sleep," he said.

"I was so angry and frustrated and I felt sick. And that was just after reading it," Lincoln continued.

"The Walking Dead" returns on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9/8c on AMC.
