There are lots of "horrifying" things in store for the viewers of AMC's hit "The Walking Dead" in the upcoming episodes. This much was teased by Katelyn Nacon, who plays Enid in the post-apocalyptic series.
Although there is only one episode left for the year for the eighth season of "The Walking Dead," Nacon said in an interview with Independent that viewers should stay tuned for more. "There is going to be some tough stuff to come but I feel like it will come with a silver lining because there are a lot of horrifying things to come, but also a lot of beautiful things that comes with it, comes because of it," Nacon revealed.
Nacon could well be pertaining to death/s, as the midseason finale could pose another big cliffhanger. It was the case when "The Walking Dead" season 6 ended, leaving fans wondering who would Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bat, Lucille, be mercilessly killing.
The cliffhanger was an effective approach, as the long wait had made fans tune in to the season 7 premiere, which answered their questions. The episode saw the deaths of fan-favorites Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz).
With Nacon's revelations, it could mean help in uplifting the show's current ratings, should it spark interest among its viewers. The teased plot could pave the way for a yearend miracle for the show as "The Walking Dead" season 8 had been faring roughly, with the premiere comparably low to the previous season. It had since gone downhill with just small increases in two episodes.
As for the death/s, fans speculate that it could be Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) that will be axed off the show, attributing to his change in hairstyle. Others who have been killed off the show this season are Eric (Jordan Woods-Robinson) and Shiva, King Ezekiel's (Khary Payton) tiger.
"The Walking Dead" airs every Sunday, at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
