In the next episode of "The Shannara Chronicles," Wil (Austin Butler), Mareth (Malese Jow), and Allanon (Manu Bennett) journey to strange territory to acquire a powerful weapon.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Dweller" was just released recently and showed Allanon with his companions travelling to a new land. "If Bandon [Marcus Vanco] succeeds, we will need the only weapon that can defeat him. The Sword of Shannara," he tells Wil and Mareth as they survey the strange terrain with their torches.

All of a sudden, they confront a giant spider which blocks their path. The terrifying creature uses its tentacles to wrap around Wil who is struggling to get free. It remains to be seen how Allanon and Mareth will be able to defeat the formidable spider and save Wil, as well as locate the elusive Sword of Shannara.

Meanwhile, Bandon pays Queen Tamlin (Caroline Chikezie) a visit and is threatened by her soldiers. However, he uses his magic to pry their swords out of their hands and aims them at the queen. Tamlin despises the use of magic but now seems to be at the mercy of Bandon. "When it comes to the Warlock Lord, debts are always paid," he tells the frightened queen. It remains to be seen what Bandon's agenda is with the Queen of Leah.

In the last episode, Mareth, Eretria (Ivana Baquero), and Garet Jax (Gentry White) went on a mission to save Alannon and Wil from General Riga (Desmond Chiam) and the Crimson. They were able to infiltrate the stronghold and overpower the guards with Mareth's magic and Jax's fighting abilities. In the end, they rescued Alannon and Wil and brought them to safety.

"The Shannara Chronicles" season 2 episode 4 will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 10 p.m. EDT on Spike.
