Shannon Beador is talking about her husband David's former mistress. Since the premiere of the 10th season of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," the star has been very candid about their marriage troubles, revealing that David had an affair with another woman.

Though Shannon has talked about how she felt after learning of the affair, she has not shared much about the other woman. But in a new interview on "Watch What Happens Live," the mother of three revealed that the woman called her once and they had a conversation.

In the preview for the Oct. 5 episode of "WWHL," the star told pesenter Andy Cohen, "I have actually spoken to her because she called me once. But I've never sought her out. In that conversation, I wanted to say certain things but I didn't. I said, 'I want my family back, please give us that.'"

The woman then told Shannon that David was intent on being with her.

"Her response was, 'He's obsessed with me, he's like, he wants to marry me, I don't even know the guy,'" Shannon continued.

"It wasn't a kind conversation," said the Bravo star, who appeared to be suppressing her emotions as David held her hand during the interview.

At one point, Shannon said that she thought their marriage was finally over when David asked one of their daughters to give his wedding ring back to her.

"One day he handed Stella his wedding ring and said, 'Give this to your mother, I don't want it anymore,' and that was a knife in my heart," she said.

The reality star said that she never thought that they would get back together but she continued to wear her wedding ring because she wasn't giving up on their marriage.

Nowadays, the couple appears to be in a better place, having sought help to repair their relationship and save their marriage. In an interview with Us Weekly, the 51-year-old said that they have been going to a place called Couples Retreat, which claims to have a 90 percent success rate in repairing marriages.

The couple also revealed that after talking about it, they decided to let their marital problems known to the public on the Bravo show. Shannon said that they wanted to address the infidelity so that they could give other couples who are going through the same thing some hope that things can get better.

"If you both work and make the effort and love each other, you can get out," Shannon told the magazine. "You can get through it."
