Fans of "The Originals" hoping to see Rebekah Mikaelson (Caire Holt) again in the fifth season of the show need not wonder more, as the character's actress has been seen on set.

Claire Holt is seen along co-star Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus Mikaelson, posing for a photoshoot. Holt herself posted the said photo on her Instagram account. The post led a lot of fans to assume that Rebekah will have a significant part to play in the upcoming season 5 of "The Originals."

That said, Carter Matt argued that the Instagram post with Holt and Morgan will be the closest thing to a Klaus and Rebekah meeting that fans will get, given the circumstances faced by the family in season 4. Still, the website was hoping that a reunion would be possible since it would complete the fifth and final run.

Meanwhile, Klaus may also see Camille O' Connell a.k.a. Cami (Leah Pipes) once again despite the latter being dead. In season 3 of the show, Cami died after being turned into a vampire. Since then, Cami has manifested as a ghost. Klaus may experience agony due to his family getting scattered all over the world, and it could trigger him to once again seek Cami's ghost for comfort.

However, other speculations say that it will be Caroline Forbes-Salvatore's (Candice King) arrival that would remedy Klaus' pain. Caroline is expected to travel to New Orleans in season 5, and fans are excited at the possibility of her being a pillar of support, perhaps more, for Klaus. "Klaroline" has become a fan-favorite couple ever since a photo of King and Morgan together on the show's set surfaced on Instagram.

Still, there is no official word from the writers that the two will be more than friends, so Klaroline fans may want to curb their hype.

"The Originals" season 5 has no official release date announcements yet but is expected to be back sometime in 2018.
