'The Originals' season 5 plot rumors: Hope could get angry with one of the show's characters

"The Originals" is still quite a few months away, but the future of one of the vampire characters are not looking too positive, particularly Hope (Danielle Rose Russell).

Hope and her relationship with her mother Hayley, in particular, could be in jeopardy since fans will recall that Hayley's new friend is actually a human and not an immortal blood-feasting undead creature. More than that, Hayley is actually dating the unlucky human chef named Declan (Torrance Coombs). To add more to the complex predicament, Declan does not know what her girlfriend really is and is oblivious to how powerful she and her clan are.

With this in mind, fans can expect a potential friction between Hayley and Hope when the former starts to take Declan seriously and starts bringing him into both their lives. Meanwhile, for Hayley, this could actually be a good thing since she and Hope are trying to lead normal lives, though Hayley seems to have no choice in the matter since she is unaware of her former life as a member of the Mikaelson family.

Though it is quite a stretch to assume that something bad will happen to Declan right away since he will be a relatively new character in the series. Meaning it could be a while before he finds out about Hayley and her daughter, or it could all depend on how comfortable Hope is with her mother's boyfriend since she may eventually try to drive Declan away just to preserve their secrets or keep the human safe.

Regardless, this is all just speculation since no one really knows yet how Hope will react once Hayley and Declan's relationship starts gaining progress.

As for the other characters, there are indications that a lot of reconciliations are going to happen in the fifth and upcoming season of the show. This means good things are to be expected for the Mikaelson's, though to what extent remains to be seen, and fans are advised to wait for season 5 of "The Originals" come Apr. 20.
