In the next episode of "The Mayor," Courtney Rose (Brandon Michael Hall) finds himself torn between two beautiful women.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Will You Accept This Rose?" was just released recently and showed Mayor Rose having to make a decision between bringing Danielle or Amber to the Fort Grey Medical Center Gala. He finally decides to take his old flame Danielle to the fancy event where they both have a good time dancing and exchanging laughs. However, it occurs to him that Danielle just wanted to go out with him because of his influence and connections. He realizes later that Amber is the one who really likes him for who he is. He asks the help of his good friends Jermaine Leforge (Bernard David Jones) and T.K. Clifton (Marcel Spears) to recreate a prom-posal to ask Amber out on a date.

Courtney, Leforge, and Clifton appear in front of Amber's apartment and serenade to her an invitation to a wonderful date with the mayor. Amber pops up in the balcony and is clearly thrilled by their performance and Courtney's charm. It remains to be seen how their date will turn out and if it will go smoothly. Meanwhile, the mayor's mom Dina (Yvette Nicole Brown) is invited to join the church choir but is initially hesitant. Nevertheless, she ends up having a soulful realization.

In the last episode, Mayor Rose had to learn on the job and deal with union leaders to end a transportation strike. At first, the people thought that Rose was going nowhere with his promises. Later, however, he was able to reach a compromise with the leaders, thus the strike ended and the bus drivers went back to work.

"The Mayor" season 1 episode 6 will air on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 9:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.
