Fans of "The Lion King" better be prepared for some cutbacks, as the live-action remake of the movie will only have four songs, and sadly "Be Prepared" is not among those.

"The Lion King" will only be using four of the most popular songs from the animated original, though these are probably what helped make the movie iconic. This is also keeping in line with what two other live-action remakes form Disney, specifically "Jungle Book" and "Beauty and the Beast," the former having had reduced number of songs compared with the original as well.

Sir Elton John, composer and singer of one of the most popular "The Lion King" songs, has revealed what the four songs will be to The Sun. The acclaimed singer said, "There's going to be four of our songs in the film, from the original: 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight?' 'Hakuna Matata,' 'I Just Can't Wait to Be King,' and 'Circle of Life.' And then there will be an end, closing song, and we've been speaking to Beyoncé's people and hopefully Tim and I and her can cook up something."

This also reveals some of the details in the musical production of the film, in which the ending credits song will probably be a strong culmination of the three artists' strengths and signature styles incorporated with the theme of "The Lion King. With that said, this will probably be the only one John will be working on, with no new solo songs or no new musical sequences for the upcoming remake.

Still, only one full song, which was present in the animated original, has been dropped and that is "Be Prepared," sung by Scar and his Hyena lackeys in the film. Other than that, the four protagonist songs are present and intact, meaning the upcoming movie is still going to be quite a good representation of the original.
