In the next episode of the "The Big Bang Theory," physicist Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) gets resentful towards Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) for teaming up with his nemesis Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie) on a research project.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Tesla Recoil" was just released and showed Cooper entering Hofstadter's laboratory and seeing Kripke helping out with a mathematical equation. "What's Kripke doing here?" Cooper asks indignantly. Hofstadter and Wolowitz just look smugly at him as Kripke mockingly replies, "You didn't tell me we were just doing this just to stick it to Sheldon." In actuality, Kripke is delighted that Cooper is angry at him for working with his friends. The two have a long-running feud that goes back for years. "I'm messing with you, this sundae just got a cherry on top," he says with joy and satisfaction.

Apparently, Hofstadter and Wolowitz found out that Cooper went to work for the military on a secret project without telling them about it. This air of secrecy from Cooper irked both of them that they decided to recruit Kripke for their project knowing that it would annoy the physicist. It remains to be seen what Cooper will do to get back at his friends or if he will be the bigger man and apologize to them for his lack of transparency.

In the last episode, Cooper joined geologist Bert Kibbler to work on his project but had a hard time doing it because of his low regard for geology. Kibbler fired him because of this and recruited Hofstadter instead. Cooper was annoyed about this but Hofstadter just smiled in delight.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 11 episode 8 will hit the airwaves on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
