'The Bachelor's' Nick Viall, Vanessa Grimaldi wedding to be on TV?

Reality TV stars Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi are getting hitched soon. Viall, in a recent interview, admitted that he and his wife-to-be are not really hoping for the ceremony to air on TV.

Speaking with Extra's Mario Lopez, Viall admitted that the special celebration may or may not have a televised coverage. He told Lopez, "There's always a possibility. The thing about the wedding shows is that there's a lot of Bachelor engaged couples — they don't always do weddings."

According to Viall, what matters most for the engaged couple right now is their relationship. If the reality shows that they both starred in would offer them an opportunity, it would be great, the reality star admitted. And if not, it would be no problem.

Furthermore, Viall made it clear to Lopez that he has no immediate plans of appearing in a new reality show. Grimaldi's fiancé is taking their relationship seriously, and would like to focus on that and their wedding preparations as of the moment.

Viall and Grimaldi got engaged in "The Bachelor" season 21.

"Bachelor" couples have a tendency to stay away from a televised wedding, given that not a lot of couples can manage to stay together, and would therefore want to evade the scrutiny of the public.

While Viall and Grimaldi seem to be one of those couples who are nonchalant about a televised wedding, another "Bachelor" couple might be more than willing to get theirs on the small screen. Evan Bass and Carly Waddell, who both met on "Bachelor in Paradise," are planning on an April wedding. Reports say their wedding could serve as the premiere episode for "Bachelor in Paradise" season 4.

To note, the show has done so in the past, when Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul exchanged their vows.

Viall is currently competing in "Dancing with the Stars" season 24. All-new episodes air Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.

More updates on Viall and Grimaldi's wedding should arrive soon.
