In the next episode of "Supergirl," Kara Danvers a.k.a. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and her sister Alex (Chyler Leigh) go back to their childhood home in Midvale for some rest and relaxation.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Midvale" was just released recently and showed the Danvers sisters driving back to their old home where they grew up. "Welcome home," Kara says to Alex as they pass by the "Midvale" sign over the bridge. They decided to return to their childhood stomping grounds to relax and get away from the stresses of the city. Kara wanted to rest a little after having to deal with her boyfriend leaving the planet. That memory was too heavy for her to deal with and affected her to some extent. Alex, on the other hand, just broke off her engagement to Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) which left both of them heartbroken.

Apparently, Alex wanted to have kids while Sawyer did not. This disagreement caused tension in the relationship which eventually ended in separation. The Danvers sisters, however, are intent on getting their act together by spending time in their hometown and getting back to the basics. "I would never feel at home on Earth, but I feel at home with you," Kara says to her sister with a comforting smile. "You and I could get through anything together," Alex replies reassuringly.

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a recent interview about Lima's impending departure, "We knew fairly early on in breaking season 3 that Floriana wasn't going to be with us for more than a handful of episodes, so we never really sat down and really tried to figure out what would the story line for the two of them." Alex is expected to be single for the time being.

"Supergirl" season 3 episode 6 will air on Monday, Nov. 13 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
