"Steven Universe" season 4 to resume airing in two weeks Facebook/StevenUniverse

After more than a month of being off the air, the next five episodes of "Steven Universe" season 4 will air starting May 8.

Cartoon Network officially unveiled a sneak peek of the upcoming adventures of Steven and his friends on the next episode of the animated series via the network's official Twitter account.

The promo trailer shows Steven and his best friend Connie talking about his past adventures, including the time when he was abducted by aliens, visited an odd zoo where humans were displayed instead of animals, as well as when he tried to escape behind several intergalactic tyrants.

But while Steven enjoys his down time away from all the troubles, the next clip shows that it will not last for long since he will find out that his other friend, Sadie, will mysteriously disappear after the two of them said goodnight to each other.

Aside from Sadie's disappearance, Steven will also face more adventures in the upcoming episode, beginning with the one titled "Lion 4: Alternate Ending," which will be aired by the network on Monday, May 8. According to the synopsis of the upcoming episode, Lion will expel a magical key that will prompt Steven to go on another journey to find out what it unlocks.

The episode will be followed by "Doug Out" that will air on Tuesday, May 9. This will showcase Steven and Connie's bonding time with Connie's father. Then, on Wednesday, May 10, the episode "The Good Lars" will show Steven, Sadie, and Lars attending a party hosted by the Cool Kids.

The next episode called "Are You My Dad?" will showcase the disappearance of several people from Beach City. This could be the episode where Sadie will suddenly vanish without a trace. The episode will be aired on Thursday, May 11. Finally, the fifth episode will be called "I Am My Mom," where Steven will reportedly do everything to fix his past mistakes.

Cartoon Network will air all the upcoming episodes of "Steven Universe" at 7 p.m. EDT.
