October will be "Star Wars" month as the animated series "Star Wars Rebels" comes back for its fourth and final season this Oct 16. The show's last season has finished the production and is ready to give "Star Wars Rebels" its proper send-off.

Several Monday episodes will be shown back-to-back and fans will have a full hour filled with "Star Wars Rebels" episodes. After that, the show will go on a holiday break but will resume airing more episodes in 2018.

On the "Rebels Recon" YouTube series, "Star Wars Rebels" producer Dave Filoni teased about the upcoming storyline in season 4.

The upcoming season will highlight the return of Saw Gerrera and Mon Mothma. Filoni hinted that there will be more to see in the relationship between the two, as it breaks down and falls apart. The show will also visit Mandalore, the home planet of Sabine, which was featured a lot in another "Star Wars" animated series "Clone Wars." Feloni then revealed how "The longer we've gone with this series, the more it just occurred to me that Rebels really is, in a lot of ways, going to finish 'Clone Wars.'"

He also added that the show's final season will give the fans an ending for many things the team was not able to finish. He further explained that how they had come to the conclusion was never intended to happen and was never the goal. The ending worked itself out along with the characters, which is a good thing.

"Star Wars Rebels" focuses on the adventures of the crew of the ship called The Ghost. The show has released 59 episodes from seasons 1 to 3, with 15 more coming this season 4. Several review aggregator websites have given a 100% approval rating for its first and second season based on a large number of reviews. "Star Wars Rebels" has also received several nominations and won awards including winning Best Animated Series or Film on Television in the 43 Saturn Awards and a nomination for Outstanding Children's Program in the recently concluded 69th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
