The brains behind the video game "Star Wars Battlefront II" have decided to put the questions at rest, as they release a new trailer tackling the single-player campaign and its storyline.

The 1 minute and 50-second trailer started with the escape of Commander Iden Versio, the female protagonist who is the leader of the Inferno Squad, with the help of a robot. Admiral Versio, her father, divulged that the emperor is dead, leading to the juxtaposition of the journey of the group as it faces battles. All these following the explosion of the second Death Star. The video also showed some of the gameplay, like fights with Luke Skywalker, and iconic characters, like Princess Leia, from the movie franchise.

"You do follow Iden through this journey whilst from time to time, switching sides and playing from the perspective of one of the iconic heroes because again that's just part of Battlefront's DNA," Mark Thompson, game director at Motive, said in an interview with Eurogamer

Thompson also described the single-player campaign as the "most requested feature." Motive is the developer responsible for the newly introduced mode of the game, while Dice will take care of the multiplayer mode. Meanwhile, Criterion is in charge for the arcade modes.

The single-player mode of "Battlefront II," as The Verge reported, would take the experience of being an Imperial soldier to players. What can be deduced is that the game would continue to be full of operations and missions to complete from the point of view of the soldier.

Steve Blank, from the Lucasfilm Story Group, disclosed the plot of the second iteration of "Battlefront" in a panel interview in July this year at the Star Wars Celebration. He said that the story will follow Iden's travel in the new order.

"Battlefront II's" single-player mode was announced at the Star Wars Celebration. It is set to be released on Nov. 17.
