"Star Wars Battlefront 2" will not only let the Empire strike back, but the players will be able to do so as well in the new Strike game mode for the multiplayer portion of the first-person shooter (FPS).

This guide will let players and their teams be more efficient in carrying out their offense or defense and ultimately win the battle for either the Empire or the Resistance. In the said Strike game mode, two teams of six players each face off against each other to achieve a single objective.

The attacking team must deliver a package to a point guarded by the other team, but the catch is the former only has a set amount of respawns, while the latter has a set goal of kills. Should both attain their own objectives, the game is over. The mode is made even more serious since there are only six players per team, and each mistake is apparent and costly.

Coordination is key for the attacking team in this mode, where the player carrying the package needs to make themselves scarce, possibly even letting their other team members ahead in order to clear out the defense. While anyone else on the team can pick up the package in the event of the carrier's death, this would cost the team revive points and can cause a potential wipe of the entire squad.

As for the defending team, the best defense is a good offense. This means that they must all rush out of the point they are defending and hunt down the members of the attacking team, effectively exhausting the latter's respawns and meeting the kill quota. This ensures that the attacking team will not gain any ground or advantage in delivering the package. That said, the defending team must also be aware that the player carrying the package may also sneak past the fray, and it is advised to leave one guard behind to watch the point.
