In the next episode of "Star Trek: Discovery," Captain Gabriel Lorca (Jason Isaacs) and his crew go into battle against the Klingons.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Into the Forest I Go" was released just recently and showed the Discovery getting chased by a giant Klingon battlecruiser. "We are about to face the most difficult challenge we had ever attempted. No other crew will have a chance of pulling this off. Let's give them a taste of what the Discovery is capable off," Lorca says to the whole crew with conviction. It seems that the captain will be pulling all the stops to defeat the formidable Klingon attack ships. The Discovery is shown using the spore drive which enables it to disappear instantly and reappear anywhere in the galaxy. The spores in space act like wormholes that allow anything to be transported through them.

The Klingon cruiser is taken by surprise when Lorca's ship suddenly spins into existence out from nowhere and shoots laser beams at it. It then spins again and surprisingly vanishes into thin air. Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) is also shown going face-to-face with the Klingon leader Kol (Kenneth Mitchell). "I thought Klingons were honorable. Prove your worth," Burnham says to Kol. "I accept your challenge," the enemy proclaims defiantly. It remains to be seen if Lorca and his crew will be able to defeat their adversaries with minimal casualties.

In the last episode, Burnham, Ash Tyler (Shazad Latif), and Saru (Doug Jones) went to the planet of Pahvo to gain information on how to use their sonar technology and apply it to the Discovery. This was done in order to counter the Klingons' cloaking ability of their ships.

"Star Trek: Discovery" season 1 episode 9 will hit the airwaves on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 9:30 p.m. EST on CBS All Access.
