The developers of "Soul Calibur VI" add more fighting souls to their game, as two old characters from previous iterations are making a comeback and will be part of the upcoming brawling game.

Developer Project Soul and publisher Bandai Namco have added back Ivy and Zasalamel in the roster for playable fighters in "Soul Calibur VI." The former, Ivy Valentine, is actually a fan-favorite and has been a part of the franchise ever since the first game and has appeared in every game version since then. Meanwhile, Zasalamel is relatively new and was added only since "Soul Calibur III."

Two new trailers were also released for both characters that show their new and updated character designs as well as some of their new movesets that are sure to bring pain to the opponent.

As usual, Ivy's clothing is scarce in-game, as with all iterations of "Soul Calibur," she wears her purple dominatrix-like "armor" and her signature whip blade which is both flexible enough for her graceful fighting style but sharp enough to defeat her opponents. According to Metro UK, the breast physics for her character has apparently been reduced due to some critics of the game, though her skimpy attire might still probably draw some stern opinions.

As for Zasalamel, the scythe-wielding, self-righteous spellcaster clad in white hooded robes is back and with an updated look. The powerful fighter can be seen in the trailer utilizing his scythe in creative and flashy ways and reserving his magic attacks for certain situations. Ever since the character has been introduced in the third game, he has gained much popularity due to the way he fights as well as the unique lore behind him, basically making him unkillable, though not unbeatable.

Both Ivy and Zasalamel will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC version of "Soul Calibur VI" once it gets released on all platforms, though there is no exact release date nor even predictions yet as of this time. Rest assured, the game will reportedly arrive sometime this year.
