The sixth season of "Sister Wives" is sure to be filled with a lot of changes since Kody Brown is now officially divorced from his first wife, Meri. Earlier this year, it was reported that Meri was leaving the show and moving out now that her daughter is in college, but now, there are rumors that Meri left Kody because of a feud between her and the youngest of Kody's wives, Robyn.

However, there is no truth to this rumor as Meri chose to divorce Kody so that he could legally marry Robyn, as seen in the season 5 finale of the TLC show. In doing so, Kody will be able to adopt Robyn's children from a previous marriage.

During the season finale, Meri said that there were mixed emotions and that it felt like the end of an era since they were married for 24 years.

"But at the same time, I know it's not [the end for us] because I have eternity with him, I have eternity with the family, I know it's not the end," said Meri.

In the same interview, Robyn said that it was difficult for her as well to see Kody and Meri sign the divorce papers because she knew that the two love each other.

"It was painful to watch," said Robyn.

Last month, Kody and Robyn announced that they are expecting their second child together, and in a statement to Us Weekly on June 19, the two said that they are "so happy to announce an eagerly expected new family member of the Brown family."

Although fans thought that Meri would have a hard time accepting the news, she took to Twitter on June 20 to send out a message to the expectant couple.

"Congratulations @LuvgvsUwngs and @realkodybrown on your pregnancy. Happy for you both!" Meri tweeted.

The pregnancy announcement came four months after Meri divorced Kodi. Shortly after, Kody married Robyn. Their new baby will be Kody's 18th child and Robyn's fifth.

As of now, there is no word yet from TLC when the sixth season of "Sister Wives" will premiere.
