Selena Gomez and DJ Zedd reunited for a special performance at Z100's Jingle Ball on Friday, Dec. 11, in New York City, letting the world know that though they are no longer dating, the two remain close friends.

For their performance, the two performed their hit collaboration, "I Want You to Know," to the delight of the crowd. The Jingle Ball appearance was the first time that they performed the song live.

After the show, the two posed for pictures, and photos of the two looking cozy circulated online. In one particular shot, Gomez and Zedd are hugging each other as the former Disney star gives the EDM DJ a kiss on the cheek.

Zedd took to Instagram to post a photo of him and the singer-actress and captioned it, "Reunion with my favorite lil Mexican taco to perform #IWantYouToKnow tonight at Madison Square Garden." Gomez also took to the photo-sharing site and posted a photo of the couple from the event and captioned it, "My babes @zedd and I performing for @z100newyork!! So grateful to wrap up this year with the best people. Thank you NY!!"

It is believed that the two started dating in January after they attended the Golden Globe awards together. In the same month, the DJ was seen visiting Gomez in Atlanta while she was filming a movie. In February, they released "I Want You to Know" and even appeared in the music video together.

While fans certainly liked the two together, their relationship did not last as it was reported that they broke up in April. While some speculated that they fabricated their relationship to get publicity for their track, Gomez denied this and confirmed that she and Zedd dated.

In an interview with radio show "The Edge Afternoons" (via Hollywoodlife), Gomez said, "I adore Anton [Zedd] a lot and I definitely had a thing with him."

And while the reunion made a lot of people speculate that the two might be getting back together, a Hollywoodlife source said that though the two are not dating anymore, Zedd wanted Gomez to know that he cares for her as a friend and that he will always be there for her.
