Selena Gomez and Niall Horan were seen leaving an "X-Factor" afterparty together in London on Sunday, Dec. 13. Earlier that night, One Direction performed at the finals of the hit British competition show for the last time as a group before going on a hiatus.

While fans of the group have expressed their sadness over the band's one-year break, many were thrilled that Horan appears to have formed a romantic relationship with the former Disney star.

In photos published by the Daily Mail, Gomez is seen leaving the party at The Edition Hotel in London wearing a black coat over a dark green satin gown accessorized with strappy black heels. The 23-year-old tries to hide her face from photographers as Horan walks behind her. The boy band member donned a black suit, white shirt, and a burgundy tie for the event.

The Sun reports that Gomez and Horan are "officially an item" after the two attended the party, where sources told the website that they were seen kissing in a corridor.

"They spent the entire night locked together and were very touchy-feely," said a source to The Sun. "They kissed in a corridor. There is no doubt there is something going on between them."

While Horan has yet to talk about the real status of their relationship, Gomez initially denied that she and the boy band member are dating during a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, two days before she and Horan were spotted together in London.

When asked if they were dating, Gomez said, "Oh my God! No. I love him, I always have. He's amazing."

The two sparked dating rumors after they were seen together at Jenna Dewan-Tatum's birthday party at LA hotspot Bootsy Bellows earlier this month. A source told Entertainment Tonight that the two were seen getting cozy and kissing at the party.
