'Scorpion' season 4 episode 14 spoilers: Walter babysits Ralph and his friends

In the next episode of "Scorpion," Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel) babysits Ralph (Riley B. Smith) and his school friends for the afternoon.

The trailers and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, which is titled "Lighthouse of the Rising Sun," were just released recently, and they show O'Brien and some of the Scorpion team members spending time with the kids.

He then decides to film a spontaneous show called "Walt's Whiz Kids" which highlights scientific experiments done by the children. His colleague Sylvester Dodd (Ari Stidham) films them using the camera while O'Brien hosts the presentation.

"Today we will be learning the most basic concepts of physics...Now we will be doing this via the classic egg-drop experiment," the scientist says to the camera. It seems that the kids will drop some eggs, but they have to try and not let them break.

They create protective devices that may guard the eggs against breaking. "Ready, whiz kids?" O'Brien asks the eager school children. They all shout a resounding "Ready!"

They drop their eggs from the second floor of the office, but most are met with sounds of cracking eggs. Ralph is the only one who manages to save his egg. O'Brien looks displeased and explains to the kids what to do in order to stop the eggs from breaking. However, they just stare at him with blank expressions. It remains to be seen what the outcome of O'Brien's show will be.

In the last episode, Team Scorpion got trapped in a doomsday bunker when it locked down accidentally. Toby Curtis (Eddie Kaye Thomas) was able to escape through the ventilation shaft and open the bunker from the outside of it. The team exited from the underground facility unharmed and relieved from their ordeal.

"Scorpion" season 4 episode 14 will hit the airwaves on Monday, Jan. 22, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
