Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to release with Android 4.2.2 or 4.3? Launch date may be in September

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be released in early fall, around September, according to a South Korean analyst.

The Galaxy Note 3 is one of the hottest smartphones anticipated for year 2013, and many clues have hinted that the next-gen phablet will be released at the IFA event in Berlin, Germany.

The annual event is held around September, and it was where Samsung revealed the first Galaxy Note handset to the world. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was launched in September 2012 at a Samsung Unpacked event, just days before the IFA Berlin 2012.

Android Geeks predicts that the Galaxy Note 3 will be introduced at another Samsung Unpacked event slated to take place a week before IFA Berlin, which kicks off September 6.

Earlier this month, the South Korean tech company listed its upcoming Galaxy Note 3 on its website. The listing in question appeared on Samsung's Kazakhstan website, according to Techtastic, and hinted that it is indeed launch at IFA 2013.

However, Samsung may surprise its fans and launch the Galaxy Note 3 on June 20, which is when a Samsung event is scheduled to place in UK.

The latest phablet will take on the iPhone 5S, which is most likely to launch around September as well.

The rumored specs for the Galaxy Note 3 includes a huge 5.9 inch 1080 display, 2GB ram and Android 4.3. It may be packed with the latest Android 4.3 if Google releases it by September. If not, it will most likely come with Jelly Bean 4.2.2.

Two version of the Note 3 may be launched – Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 or Octa-core Exynos 5 chipset.
