Bravo's hit reality series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" (RHOA) just came back for its tenth season, and along with this comeback was the return of NeNe Leakes, who saw confrontation as early as the first episode of the current run.
Porsha Williams confronted Leakes about her statements on the show "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen" in May. Leakes reportedly said that Williams ought to be fired like Phaedra Parks from previous seasons of "RHOA." Williams obviously did not find the statements amusing, and she added that Leakes was "fake as hell" during the confrontation.
As such, during her guest stint on WWHL last Sunday, Leakes denounced Williams' accusations and clarified what actually happened during the show in May. "Porsha is just as guilty as Phaedra. She ain't that damn dumb," Leakes can be remembered as saying months ago. The 49-year-old wife of Gregg narrated that some caller asked her who she wanted to "get rid of."
"And I said Frick and Fraud — whatever their name is...that's what I said, so I never used those words, so let's be very, very clear about what was said," Leakes insisted. She also maintained that they were entitled to opinions, especially when the show had callers asking questions about the issue.
"RHOA" season 9 saw Parks being fired after starting off a malicious accusation against co-star Kandi Burruss and husband Todd Tucker. Parks told Williams that Burruss and her beau were planning to drug her and Shamea Morton. Parks claimed the information was divulged to her by Burruss. Later on, however, it was revealed that Parks got the false information from an unnamed source.
Leakes, who had taken a hiatus after joining "RHOA" for seven seasons before finally returning for this run, also threw shade at Williams and said that her costar had gained weight.
"RHOA" season 10 airs Sundays, 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
