The roach controversy hounding two stars of Bravo's hit reality television show "Real Housewives of Atlanta" (RHOA) has dragged on for so long that it has taken a new form.

Kim Zolciak is coming back in "RHOA" season 10, and it seems that she has no plans of mending broken bridges with co-star NeNe Leakes anytime soon. Adding salt to the wound, Zolciak lashed back at Leakes for her vicious accusations towards her and her daughter in an interview with US Weekly.

"To insinuate something so ridiculous in this day and age when people are actually dying over racism, is pretty gross," said the wife of Kroy Biermann and added that Leakes' accusation of her being a part of KKK was what drew the line.

Zolciak also slammed NeNe and husband, Gregg, who had pest exterminator and roach costumes, respectively, during Halloween, describing the act as "ridiculous." The costumes were an allusion to the controversial video uploaded by Zolciak's daughter, Brielle Biermann, in her Snapchat account, which showed a roach crawling on the bathroom floor of the new house of the Leakes.

Leakes had taken offense at what the 21-year-old did and accused Zolciak and her daughter of being "racist." Leakes also claimed that the two were just jealous of her new house. "Yo trashy mama should have taught you better! My home is Brand New but you guys were so jealous of it, you couldn't even give a compliment," Leakes captioned when she reposted the video in her account. In turn, Zolciak and her daughter hired lawyer Marty Singer to handle the accusations Leakes made against them.

Then, another "RHOA" star stepped into the fray. Kenya Moore sided with Leakes on this issue. Moore and Zolciak also have issues each other, with the latter calling Moore an "empty soul" after the incident in the basement last season.

"RHOA" season 10 airs every Sunday, at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
