Filming has started for season 8 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," and although NeNe Leakes has said goodbye to the series, new reports claim that Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton have rejoined the hit Bravo show for its upcoming season.

According to Wetpaint, a picture of Hampton and Whitfield was uploaded by a Twitter user with the handle Instagram of Atlanta on Saturday, Aug. 8, showing the two posing with Cynthia Bailey at an event. The website reports that the event — which the Twitter user said was being taped for a season 8 episode — was for the former model's Atlanta launch for her eyewear collection. The photo was captioned, "At a private event chatting it up with @cynthiabailey10 @marlohampton and @shereewhitfield at the tapping of #RHOA."

Whitfield, 45, has reportedly finalized her contract with Bravo, and Hampton will also be featured in some episodes, according to TMZ. It is speculated that Whitfield is returning as a fulltime Housewife, while Hampton will be a Friend of the Housewives.

Whitfield starred in the first season of "RHOA" and left the show back in 2012. Back in season 2, she had a major feud with Kim Zolciak and fans witnessed how Whitfield pulled her wig. In season 4, her storyline revolved around her feud with ex-husband Bob Whitfield as they fought over child support.

In season 5 of the Bravo franchise, it was rumored that Whitfield did not leave but was replaced by Kenya Moore. And it looks like there's some bad blood between the two as Entertainment Tonight reports that in the upcoming season, Moore and Whitfield get into an argument, which results to one of the ladies throwing water at the other at Bailey's eyewear collection launch. The website claims that the drama doesn't stop there as Porsha Williams and Hampton get into an argument with Bailey's husband, Peter Thomas, at the same party.

Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date for season 8 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
