Kandi Burruss of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is expecting her first child with husband Todd Tucker.

She shared the exciting news on Wednesday, July 22, telling E! News, "We're so thrilled to announce the news of our new bundle of joy, it's a dream come true!"

The couple told E! that they haven't learned the gender of the baby yet, and that their children are excited about having a new little brother or sister. The website reports that the pair recently shared their pregnancy news with Burruss' "RHOA" co-stars, who are thrilled for them.

Burruss told the website last April that she was trying to get pregnant and was undergoing in vitro fertilization. She is already a mother to Riley, 14, with her ex-boyfriend Russell Spencer, while Tucker also has a 19-year old daughter, Kaela, from a previous relationship.

Burruss and Tucker started dating in 2011 after meeting through the Bravo series where Tucker used to work as a line producer. They got married on April 4, 2014.

Aside from the baby news, Burruss has a lot to celebrate as she has recently relaunched her record label, Kandi Koated, and has signed two acts: a girl group Glamour, and the band Loud. In a statement to E!, the 39-year-old reality TV star said that both acts are about to "take the world by storm."

"It was a no-brainer for me to sign them up to represent the next generation of artists on Kandi Koated Entertainment," she added.

The reality star is no stranger to the music industry as she used to be part of the '90s R&B group, Xscape, along with Tiny Harris and sisters LaTocha Scott and Tameka Cottle. After the group disbanded, she teamed up with Cottle in 1999 to score the international hit "No Scrubs" for TLC, which won the 2000 Grammy Award for Best R&B song. On the same year, Burruss wrote "Bills, Bills, Bills" for Destiny's Child.

Burruss, who has been a main cast member of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" since season 2, is expected to return to the show for its eighth season.
