"Pokemon Z" has long been rumored to be making its debut soon, with the latest wave of speculation claiming that the game will be released sometime this month, if not later in the first quarter of 2016. However, it appears that the title won't be making its debut soon as the game is reportedly still under development.

According to Yibada, "Pokemon Z" is still in its early stages of development, making it highly unlikely for the title to be released anytime soon. Very little is known about the game, but a full-length feature on the project was covered in the Japanese gaming magazine CoroCoro in the December 2015 issue, where it revealed all five forms of Zygarde, a melding of two legendary characters from "Pokemon X and Y." The character is expected to be the main element of the game.

Meanwhile, the magazine's latest issue appears to hint that game developer Game Freak is working on "Pokemon Z." CoroCoro revealed in its February issue the new Pokemon Magearna, described as a man-made or artificial Pokemon. The character will be appearing in an upcoming Pokemon movie where the film follows Ash as he encounters Volcanion, and the two work together to save Magearna.

According to Mobipicker, the upcoming film appears to be linked to the "Pokemon XY and Z" television series, which premiered last year. With these reveals, fans are waiting to see if these characters will be featured in upcoming Pokemon games, such as "Pokemon Go," which is slated to come out this year.

While details are unclear about "Pokemon Z," it was reported that Niantic is ready to debut "Pokemon Go" at the Gamers Developers Conference 2016. The event, which will take place in San Francisco, California from March 14 to 18, will feature an in-depth look at how players interact with one another as they explore the world of "Pokemon Go." It was rumored that the game might be released with "Pokemon Z," but this has yet to be confirmed.
