The Shelbys are definitely back. The British gangster drama "Peaky Blinders" is set to make a return to BBC Two. After a 17-month hiatus, the show is set to air its fourth season on Nov. 15.

The release date announcement comes about a month after "Peaky Blinders'" first trailer for the upcoming season was launched. The creator of the series, Steven Knight, has said that season 4 will be the best that "Peaky Blinders" has to offer.

Season 4 is set to start with Cillian Murphy's character Tommy Shelby receiving an ominous letter on Christmas Eve and concluding that he and his gang, the Peaky Blinders, are in mortal danger. As their enemy flanks them on every front, he decides to make a run for his country house and return to where he began in Small Heath, where a fight for survival waits for him.

It can be remembered that in the third season, Tommy achieved apex nihilism. The series, set in 1924, saw the Shelby family build their empire and slowly ascend the steps towards high society from their humble beginnings in Birmingham.

The show is produced by Caryn Mandabach Productions and Tiger Aspect. "Peaky Blinders" has also added Academy Award-winner Adrien Brody, alongside Aidan Gillen who appeared in "Game of Thrones" and "Happy Valley's" Charlie Murphy, to beef up its roster for season 4.

The cast members that will be reprising their roles include Helen McCrory, Paul Anderson, Joe Cole and Tom Hardy. The new season of "Peaky Blinders" will also mark the reappearance of Charlotte Riley as May Carleton.

As of press time, there is no information yet on when the show will air in the United States on Netflix, but "Peaky Blinders" normally streams once the show has ended its run in the United Kingdom.
