In the next episode of "Outlander," Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) attempts to go back in time through the portal to reunite with Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Freedom and Whiskey" showed Claire planning to go back in the past to Scotland and look for Jamie. However, she is a bit fearful and reluctant to return because she is afraid Jamie may have forgotten about her. "What if he does not love me anymore?" she questions. Her daughter Brianna Randall Fraser (Sophie Skelton) reminds Claire that the love she felt for Jamie was the most powerful thing that she ever felt in her life.

Brianna also reassures Claire that the way she feels for Jamie is the same way he feels for her. "You gave Jamie up for me. Now I have to give him back to you," Brianna expresses. Claire left Jamie to go back to the present to take care of her baby daughter. Now that Brianna is grown up, she feels that it is now time for her mother to return to her true love.

In the last episode, Jamie had a child with the Geneva (Hannah James), daughter of the Lord of Helwater, who was supposed to be married to another high-ranking aristocrat. Jamie shot and killed the rich aristocrat when he threatened to kill the baby upon knowing that he was not his. Jamie since then was able to take care of the baby until he became a small boy. After that, he left for Scotland to return to Lallybroch.

It is strongly hinted here that Jamie might cross paths once again with Claire in Scotland since both of them are going back to the same place.

"Outlander" season 3 episode 5 will air on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 8 p.m. EDT on Starz.
