"Orange Is the New Black" won the award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series at the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held on Saturday, Jan. 30. Laura Prepon, Uzo Aduba, Laverne Cox and Samira Wiley and other members of the show's cast and crew went onstage to accept the award.

The show beat out other favorites such as "The Big Bang Theory," "Key & Peele," "Transparent," "Veep," and the four-time SAG awards winner "Modern Family."

Prepon, who plays Alex on the show, spoke for the entire cast and crew, thanking their peers for voting for them.

"Look at this stage, I mean, this is what we talk about when we talk about diversity," said Prepon, to loud cheers of her castmates. The actress said that this would not have been possible without show creator Jenji Kohan, and she also thanked Netflix and "Orange Is the New Black" author Piper Kerman.

Aduba, who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren in the hit series, won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for the second year in a row. Looking regal in a sparkling green gown, the actress thanked the SAG Awards, Kohan, Netflix, and her cast mates, and the 34-year-old also took the time out to tell actors who are still waiting for their big break to "keep trying."

"Continue to keep trying, keep plugging, to keep working, no matter if anybody tells you to get out of that line that you're waiting in, stay in line!" said Aduba. "Stay in line! You have the chance. It is yours."

Meanwhile, season 4 of the Netflix series will be airing in four months, and the new season is expected to be an explosive one as new inmates come to Litchfield, including high profile celebrity chef Judy King (Blair Brown). The celebrity's arrival at the prison will lead to some changes as the inmates start to take sides, which will result in surprising alliances.

"Orange Is the New Black" season 4 premieres on June 17 on Netflix.
