NFL trade rumors 2018: Buffalo Bills trying to trade into the NFL top 10 draft

The Buffalo Bills are aiming higher for their team composition in the National Football League (NFL), as rumors surface that they may be looking to acquire players from the top 10 draft picks in the league.

This was from 104.7 FM Denver's Benjamin Allbright, who reported that the Bills are in for quite a trade deal and have been aiming to acquire some of the top 10 draft players. Allbright also stated that the Bills are particularly looking for a quarterback, such as Wyoming's Josh Allen.

The motivation probably came from the fact that the Bills placed at an abysmal 31st in the league and haven't made their comeback in years, hence their aspiration to get a top 10 pick. The team could indeed use a lot more stability in the form of a good quarterback assuming that they want to consistently challenge for postseason spots.

Some reports even claimed that the Bills were trying for a blockbuster trade with the Giants for number two pick to select Josh Rosen, according to Hogs Haven. Of course, neither the Bills nor the New York Giants have commented on the rumor, meaning the Bills are still likely looking for a quarterback in the top 10 right now.

It's not as if the Bills have a less than stellar composition, however, as they already have two first-round picks back-to-back, at numbers 21 and 22 overall which is enough to snag them some victories. Still, securing a quarterback for their team could prove substantial in the team's performance, even if it meant giving away either of their number 21 or 22 overall player.

The Bills might need to hurry though, as the San Francisco 49ers seemingly has the same idea about picking someone from the top 10 drafts. This means that the race is on for the two teams as regards who they could secure as a quarterback in the top 10, and with the number of quarterbacks currently available for a trade, the Bills and the 49ers could be in for a contest.
