NFL Thanksgiving 2017 TV schedule: When to watch on TV and online

Black Friday is not the only event where people can get something nearly for free, as several online domains and streaming services now offer free National Football League (NFL) game shows.

After shopping, fans can look forward to the following game schedules today, Nov. 23: Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions at 12:30 p.m. EST, Los Angeles Chargers and Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. EST, and New York Giants and Washington Redskins at 8:30 p.m EST. These games will be shown on FOX, CBS, and NBC, respectively.

These games will also be available on several websites, provided that viewers have decent internet connections. First, football fans can go on YouTube TV, which has a seven-day free trial with 40 channels including the three mentioned above. Afterwards, it will cost $35 per month. One selling point of YouTube TV, however, is that it offers a digital video recorder (DVR) service, which lets users record shows, perfect for when someone misses them or gets distracted.

Should YouTube TV not be available in a specific place, one good alternative is DirectTV Now, with a similar seven-day free trial program and $35 monthly charge. The main difference is that DirectTV Now has 60 channels.

Another possible alternative is Fubo TV, which also comes with the same free trial, but will only cost $19 for the first two months, going up to $39 per month afterward. The final fee might seem steep to some, but Fubo TV offers 70 channels, so there should be more shows available.

Hulu with Live TV also offers the same one-week free trial and is guaranteed to have all three channels above, for $39. As a bonus, it also comes with a library of high-quality titles, both for movies and series.

Lastly, for those who own a PlayStation (PS) 4, the PS Vue might be the best option. Like most of the others, it will cost $39 after the free trial, but unlike the generous one-month free trial periods of the packages mentioned above, the PS Vue only offers five days free.
