Is Nexus 10 2 a Samsung tablet? New speculation and rumors for January release

 PhonesArena

The release of the Nexus 10 2 tablet has confused customers, as it was rumored to release in October, but has yet to show any signs of emerging.

Google has remained silent on its second-generation 10 inch slate, which is said to be manufactured by LG. ASUS manufactured the first Nexus 10 released in 2012, but LG manufactured the popular Nexus 7 2 tablet, meaning that the second-gen 10-inch slate may also be manufactured by the Korean company. Screenshots of a tablet with an LG logo have also surfaced online.

Over two months past its rumored launch date in October, the Nexus 10 2 tablet is now speculated to launch after New Year's Day and just before the annual Consumer Electronic Show 2014 in Las Vegas.

According to SamMobile, Samsung is expected to launch its strongest rival to the iPad Air in January 2014. The rival tablet is said to pack a 10.5 inch AMOLED. This ten inch slate will be different from the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note tablet line.

The International Business Times speculates that this new Samsung tablet, not associated with the Tab or Note, may indeed be the highly awaited Nexus 10 2 tablet.

The Nexus 10 2 tablet is rumored to pack an HD 10-inch 2650x1600 display with gorilla glass, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera, and 9500mAh battery.
