In the next episode of "NCIS," Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the team go on a mission to retrieve a missing child.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Exit Strategy" was just released recently which showed the team in search of a young boy. "We got a missing kid. The priority is getting him back," Gibbs instructs his NCIS team. Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) goes on a stakeout to survey the prospective area of the perpetrator's whereabouts. In another scene, Agent Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) approaches an abandoned truck with a pistol in hand to investigate a supposed dead body.

The team manages to find information on a laptop computer about the young child. It appears that the stakes are high because people are getting hurt because of the investigation. Torres slowly surveys around a corner but gets jumped by a mysterious assailant.

This perpetrator may seemingly be the person involved in the child's disappearance. It remains to be seen though why the kid went missing and who abducted him.

In the last episode, Gibbs, Torres, Bishop, Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) and the rest of the NCIS team managed to solve the murder of a Navy Lieutenant who was placed inside a coffin in a cemetery to avoid discovery. Apparently, the victim was taking unsafe drugs which were imposed on him by his supposed friend. He later fell and died because the chemicals in the drugs clogged up his liver, which stopped functioning.

Gibbs arrested the apologetic perpetrator who said that he did not mean to kill the Lieutenant but that it was just an accident. This issue would be left to the court instead to decide the outcome of the case.

"NCIS" season 15 episode 3 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
