In the next episode of "'NCIS: Los Angeles," Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) is transported to a missile launch facility to stop three military radicals from taking control of nuclear weapons.

A sneak peek into the upcoming installment titled "The Silo" was released recently and showed Blye getting briefed by FBI agents regarding a potential nuclear catastrophe. Agent Mark Monroe informs her of the 2-man rule where two people have to turn their keys simultaneously to launch a nuclear missile. However, another authorized officer can counter the launch from a different facility. Blye gets confused and asks where the problem is in the equation. Monroe tells her, "Three Air Force officers took over two launch control centers (LCC). Because they now command two LCC's, we have no way to stop their launch orders." Blye is startled and is further informed that the perpetrators have the ability to launch 50 nuclear missiles.

Another FBI agent at their meeting tells the NCIS officer, "Let me remind you that you are not here as an agent, you're here because of your personal relationship with Captain Miller." Apparently, Miller is one of the military radicals and Blye dated him a decade ago for a few months. It remains to be seen if Blye will be able to uncover any information from Miller or better yet, convince him not to go through with the launch.

In the last episode, Agent Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) helped his former police partner Lieutenant Roger Bates capture the buyer of a deadly virus that was created by a scientist by accident. The buyer was caught in downtown Los Angeles where he was ambushed by Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) and brought to justice.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 9 episode 7 will hit the airwaves on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
